AT THIS TIME… MAKE YOUR GRILLED CHEEZZ BUTTY (Sandwich)

#viotros #violife #tigertiger #may-o

We use our Vegan Gluten Free Bread and Vegan Flavored Cheese and Mayo found at our local Health food store! If you are looking to add more comfort… we add Soy Free Earth Balance Butter to the bread before grilling for that real grilled cheezz flavor!

Turn off heat and purée mixture with an immersion blender for 5 minutes or until the mixture is smooth.

If you don’t have an immersion blender, you can add the mixture to a blender or a food processor…return soup to pan once blending is done.

Add in Sea Salt (to taste) and Nutritional Yeast.

If soup is thicker than desired, add in ¼ to 1 cup water and whisk into soup slowly!

*NOTE: Adding sugar does balance the acidity of tomatoes. You don’t need much, maybe a teaspoon or so. A lot depends on the tomatoes you use. If using canned tomatoes -there may already be some sugar added.

IMG_2873We all know that mother nature has supplied us with all we need to be and stay healthy. Here’s a little list of some important areas to take care of.

Brain:

Some quick and easy foods that keep the brain healthy.

Celery: The sodium contained within celery neutralizes acid in the body, this is one of the highest sodium foods we have. It contains magnesium, which keeps away migraine headaches too. It is a good blood cleanser and is beneficial if you have high blood pressure. Eat this raw.

Almonds: These are full of manganese and phosphorus these are the best nuts you can use. They are beneficial for the brain, muscles and the nervous system. Almonds contain two brain nutrients, riboflavin and L-Carnitine these have been shown to increase brain activity and also show a reduced occurrence of Alzheimer’s disease.

Black Walnuts: Walnuts contain manganese, copper, iron, phosphorous, magnesium, and calcium. They are also high in Omega 3 this is essential for brain. The brain is made up of 60% structural fat, which is why omega 3’s are so important they keep the brain flexible and fluid.

Is it coincidence a Walnut looks like a brain?

Heart:

Olives are the highest potassium food, potassium is essential for heart health. You can make a simple tea to help lower your LDL Cholesterol therefore reducing the risk of coronary heart disease.

Take 10 olives cut them in half, place them in a cup and cover with boiling water. Let them steep for 10 minutes and drink. Leave the olives in the cup and eat if you want too when you’ve finished the tea.

Lettuce Discuss… You Can Heal Your Life Chapter Three

“Where does it come from?”

“In the infinity of life where I am, all is perfect, whole, and complete. The past has no power over me because I am willing to learn and to change. I see the past as necessary to bring me to where I am today. I am willing to begin where I am right now to clean the rooms of my mental house. I know it does not matter where I start, so I begin with the smallest and easiest rooms, and in that way I will see results quickly. I am thrilled to be in the middle of this adventure, for I know I will never go through this particular experience again. I am willing to set myself free. All is well in my world.” -Louise L. Hay
